The Architectural practice of Coast Design Inc. was founded by David Lopes and is based in the heart of Charlottetown. Coast Design is recognized for a hands on approach to integrating well designed, attractive, and cost-effective architecture with timely and efficient contract administration and project management. Prior to Coast Design, David was also the founder and principal of the Architectural firm North 46 Architecture which acquired by Architecture49 in 2013.
We are committed to providing our clients with quality service and management through all phases of a project. Our experience smoothly guides a project to a successful completion. David R Lopes is the principal Architect in charge and leads all projects and consultants through all phases. David is a registered member of the Architects Association of Prince Edward Island, the Nova Scotia Association of Architects, Architects Association of New Brunswick and a member of the Royal Architects Institute of Canada.
It should be noted that this website is solely dedicated to Coast Design’s Single Family Home and Summer cottage project portfolio. These special smaller projects provide an opportunity for unique design and fun which carries over into all of our projects.
